About
My goal has always been to dedicate my life to educating, helping, and informing the public about our weather and atmospheric system. I began my journey at WSIL in the Paducah market, where I navigated everything from snowstorms to tornado outbreaks and was a part of an award-winning special called ‘Project Tornado.’
After two years in the Paducah market, I embraced the opportunity to move three hours south to Nashville to join the NewsChannel 5 weather team. I’m proud to contribute to our Safe Places program, an initiative that collaborates with local county EMA, providing secure shelter during storms for those in need. You can currently catch me on air weekend evenings and filling in during the week.
When I’m not on air, I’m writing weather and climate articles or teaching students—something I truly love. Whether I’m in a classroom or mentoring college students at the University of Tennessee at Martin, I find joy in sharing my passion for meteorology.
